- 8 oz. whole wheat pasta (you can substitute no-yolk egg noodles)
- 1/2 lb. lean ground beef (93% lean)
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 tsp. Five Spice powder (more or less to taste)
Prepare whole wheat pasta as directed on package. While pasta is cooking, saute ground beef, onion and garlic in a skillet until meat is cooked through. Add frozen vegetables and Five Spice powder, mix well and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes or until veggies are heated.
